Thanks to all who have entered my giveaway so far. Most have remembered all parts of the entry, but just to clarify, and to be fair to all, I wanted to remind of the rules. I will have to redraw if the winner has not done all 3. Sorry, I am not being mean. Just want to pre-empt any public enquiries.
1. Leave a comment
2. Put a wee link or mention of said giveaway in your blog
3. Become a follower (then I can come and visit you)
Thanks all and good luck x

5000 hits!!!!!!!!!! and a Giveaway
I can hardly believe it, my lil` ol` blog has reached 5000 hits. I remember when I started it, I was worrying how to get people to read it, and it would seem you guys found it all by your clever-old-selves. To say I am chuffed is an understatement.
To celebrate my 5000th hit I am running a draw for this latest bunny. She is called Bonnie and is knitted in calico Sirdar soft cotton, and her dress is in lovely Rowan Handknit cotton. Both are a lovely soft feel yarn. There will be more of these in the shop soon but the lucky recipient will get the first calico one.
The rules are very simple.
Just leave me a comment on this post,
Become a follower(obviously, the following part is not necessary for you lovely people that already follow)
Then put a link or mention to the giveaway on your own blog or website( the link/mention is a vital part of all entries please).
In 2 weeks time on Friday 8th May I will close the contest and generate a number related to the number of comments using the random number generator. Bonnie will be joining the family of the lucky winner. Please remember to follow the rules carefully.
Good luck to you all. x
A New Fave Artist
This week I was reading updates on my blogs I follow list and one from the Inspirational blog came up about this artist. The picture was what made me look, it is the first one above. The very talented lady is Leanne Ellis. Her characters are whimsical and in a totally unique style which I am sure you will find most appealing. She also designs rubber stamps for the `Sugar Nellie` range that I am sure all you avid papercrafters will be familiar with.
I knew right away I was going to buy some of her work which can be found in her etsy shop at
http://TheLaLaLaShop.etsy.com ,
the only problem was which? I fell for so many and after much deliberation chose `The Wavering Mind` which was quite apt as it took me an age of wavering and dithering to come to that conclusion. I have a feeling I may be back for more. Cannot wait for it to arrive now. Also, if you are reading this post soon after posting , Leanne is doing a giveaway on her blog
http://www.la-la-laillustration.blogspot.com/
This was a supplemental post that I felt just could not wait so the giveaway will definitely be next.

A Productive Easter
I have had a very busy holiday so far what with the decorating of both our bedroom and the downstairs loo, and lots of putting the garden right after the ravages of the winter. Now I think I can take a few days r & r before I have to return to work next week.
I have put 2 more bunnies in the shop, Becca and Billy. Next time I will be revealing a giveaway. To make sure you do not miss out why not add my blog to your following list.

Mothers Day Bunny
Whilst getting ready for Handm@ade Cambridge http://handmadecambridge.blogspot.com/
I whipped up this little bunny for my Mum for Mothers Day. I let Mum name her and she is called `Posy`.
If you would like a bunny of your own I will be selling then on my stall at Handmade Cambridge this Saturday 4th April where I shall be sharing my stall with my daughter who has eclectic original art and prints. Find her at http://www.dingsinsainity.blogspot.com. Obviously there will be lots of bags also. Do say hello if you are a blog reader.
Sorry I have tried and tried to get the linky thing to work and it just will not co-operate. I am sure you are all familiar with copy and paste.
