More Cuties in the Shop

With the last payday before Christmas coming up for lots of us, I expect many of you, like myself, will be thinking about the present shopping.  I have just listed these 3 little cuties in my etsy shop in time for the busy shopping season.  I dont know about you, I do not relish a trip to the shops at all.  These are my smaller ones with no joints, pom poms or small pieces, so are really nice for smaller children. I would probably say not under 3`s but it is your call.  At only £15 each, they are very affordable and if you buy more than one the subsequent ones ship free.  In addition to these bunnies, there are 2 little foxes in the shop, and if you have witch friendly kiddies, there are couple of witch bunnies in the same small style.

Dont forget, there are some lovely stockings and cute mittens for your tree in the etsy shop, with a selection of some of my bears and bunnies.

Dont forget about the artist bears for those bear collectors on your list.

Now, I think I may go pour myself a nice coffee and indulge in a mince pie.

Another Finished Quilt aka UFO

This windmill quilt  was started almost a year ago and in fact, the piecing was finished within weeks. I could not face machine quilting, as my old girl is a bit temperamental. I have quite a thing about quilting and would dearly love a machine that was better for it.  Having not hand quilted before, I was a bit daunted.  I started the quilting at Christmas and will always think of it as the `Upstairs Downstairs quilt` as much of it was worked on whilst watching the new one last year in peace (with tia maria and cashew nuts) as no one else wanted to watch it. I have just quilted in the ditch for my first hand quilting attempt.  It is by no means perfect but I am really pleased with it. Not sure at this point whether to sell it or keep it, so it has a place upsatirs in the sewing room until I decide.

Last week I showed you Felipe my little fox. He has now been joined by Fliss, his little female companion in my etsy shop.  How cute do they look together?

They are just £15 each plus £3 shipping (second one ships free if you get them together)  If you buy you kiddies valentines gifts (I know folk who do) they would be just perfect.

Teacosies!!! and a Special gift

This weekend I gave my wrists a little rest from knitting and made these teacosies. They have a festive feel but not so in your face Christmas that you could not keep them out beyond the new year.  I have spread them out a bit. 2 are in the etsy shop and one in the Folksy shop but I think I have enough fabric for one more so that will go on folksy too.  Click on the pictures to take you to individual listings.

Also, I wanted to share this pretty christmas cookie decoration made for me by my friends daughter. She is in primary school so this is an impressive piece of work. I was so touched to have this made especially for me. Thankyou H, you know who you are.

Folksy friday, Gingerbread Folk

When I listed  my christmas stockings in my folksy shop last week, I got to thinking about how much I liked those spicy little fellows, so went on a gingerbread hunt for this weeks selection.  Hope you enjoy and it doesnt make you too hungry.

Theres a hint of Christmas in the Air- and my Folksy Shop

Christmas does seem to have snuck up on me a touch this year. Thankfully, I had some items set away to list. Have listed some stockings complete with jingle bells and lovely ribbons, and Christmas Card packs on Folksy  this weekend. I can put them in the etsy shop if anyone really wants me too but its easier to keep things simple at this busy time of the year.

Once I get time. I am planning some festive versions of my Teacosies. I have all the supplies and all the ideas, just need to magic up some time. let me know if you fancy one of these. I am going to sell for £8.00 on Folksy but would like to offer my blog readers a special price of £6 + £1.50 postage if you order direct.  Now, I am off to do some actual crafting, instead of talking about it. x
