More New Things! Hold Onto Your Hats

Good grief what has come over me. Items finished, photos taken, listings done and 2 blog posts in one week! What on the earth is going on?

First we have Roseanna, one of my larger bunnies. Those shoes have really made me smile. Mind you, I am a bit of a shoeaholic and I do rather like Mary Janes.

Then, this little miss, Bridie.  She is a small bunny in some different colours for me, inspired by a custom request. I did a slightly different colourway for that one and this was one of the choices I put together for that. I liked it so much I had to knit it up and see.

New Bunny

Just wanted to let you know that I have just listed a new bunny in my shop. The sharper eyed ones among you may notice she was there before. I had a lovely cusomer ask for extra clothes for her bunny before Christmas and not wanting to dissapoint, I literally sold her the clothes from Briannas back, along with Tabithas too. The poor loves have been shivering all over the last few weeks and I feel a little guilty for not finding them a wee blanket to cover them up.  Well Brianna has new clothes if Tabitha does not.  She will, dont worry. I have a couple of custom orders to sort and then she too can have new clothes.  Click on the picture to take you to her.
Find me here

Inspired by this ladys idea, I have also added to the shop a custom listing for extra outfits as it is not the first time I have been asked.
Click here to buy your bunny new clothes

This gives you 1 top and 1 bottom plus matching shoes, or 1 dress and matching shoes. it is for boys or girls and will fit not just bunnies, but any of my larger sized elephants, foxes, pandas and a knitted bear.

Folksy friday, Gingerbread Folk

When I listed  my christmas stockings in my folksy shop last week, I got to thinking about how much I liked those spicy little fellows, so went on a gingerbread hunt for this weeks selection.  Hope you enjoy and it doesnt make you too hungry.

Finally, some stock finished.

I spent the last week or so finishing up some animals which for one reason or another never seemed to get sewn up. The result being a bit like busses. Three at once having not seen one for ages!

First for your delight is Ruthie. She has a hint of Christmas I think but not in an `in your face, put her away in January` kind of Christmas.
She can be found here

Next, this canoodling couple are Ellen and Ethan. Although they are pictured together here they are listed separately here and here. Aren`t they just adorable?

I have sold quite a few of the horses outside of etsy, so now my stock shelf looks more knitteds as a few months ago it was more horses. Dont forget everything can be made to order so do convo me, or simply, in the case of the horses, purchase a custom listing and then let me know what colours you want.

Drum Roll please. We have a winner!

I know its been a long time coming. I have collated the entries and using the random number generator (more reliable than the hat), I am pleased to announce that

Scottiedog who said
The green one is definately my favourite - his picture is now posted on my blog!
My daughter (7) would say "He is Soooooooooo Cute!!"

Is the lucky winner. Congratulations

Would you like to let me know if you still would like the Minty one or maybe another. Also if you would like personalisation.

Sorry you could not all be winners. As a consolation, I am offering free shipping on any item in the cuteycritters shop until the end of September for all entrants to this giveaway. Just convo me and I will revise the relevant listing for you. This is the perfect time to start squirrelling away unique handmade items for Christmas, as I tend to get quite busy with custom orders after that. Sneaky heads up. I am working on Festive elephants at the mo.

Here`s Riley, a real cutey

I want to show you my latest bunny. He is called Riley and I think he is gorgeous even if I do say it myself. I do not do as many boy bunnies as girls, as they dont sell so well, but personally, prefer them. This little guy is no exception.
He will have to have a proper photoshoot before going into the shop, but here are some cloudy day preliminary pics.

Ollie and Milo

Remember the felt horses from a couple of posts ago? Well my customer liked them so much, she requested bunnies to go with. I used the smaller bunny pattern as they needed to be suitable for smaller hands.
They have little patches on their bots!

Please say Hi to Rosie

I finished my latest bunny very late tonite and although its nearly midnight and her shoes need a press, I had to take some preliminary snaps.
If I decide to put her in the shop (I really am quite taken with her and may just have to keep her just for me), I shall take some daytime snaps.
She is made in lovely Sirdar Calico on the body, this is such a soft all cotton yarn I love to work with and her pretty pink dress is Sirdar Calypso, also soft cotton which is sadly discontinued now and I snapped up the last couple of skeins in my LYS. Her knickerbockers are a soft lemony baby yarn I had in the stash but is unbanded so cant tell you what it is but it worked totally for this and panic set in as I realised there may not be enough. There was exactly 1 and a half inches left when I cast off. Phew!
Do let me know what you think of Rosie. I love her but I am biased cos I am her Mum.

Finally finished this bunny for my etsy shop. She is called Rowie. Kitted out in a supersoft lilac dress and stripy knickerbockers to hide her modesty.

She is based on the Mary Janes Tearoom designs and has elements from several. Please dont worry though. I am delighted and extremley proud to tell you I have been granted `approved seller` status by .Susan, MJT designer and owner. As you may know, I like to keep my creations unique so it is doubtful I will ever make the exact pattern but it does give me the freedom to sell what I truly love creating. Thanks Susan, big hugs,x

Update
Oh my goodness. She sold in just a few hours. I need to knit quicker.

Phew, alchemy request finished

Firstly,Happy Thanksgiving to all my US bloggy buddies. Enjoy your holiday folks.

I recently had an alchemy request accepted. My client specifically wanted to have knitted up a particular pattern by my favourite bunny designer `Susan Hickson` from the Mary Janes Tearoom series. Imagine my delight when I spotted that request. She decided to have different colours, and here she is. As she is not mine to name I have called her Pink Daisy. The pics are a little dark as I have doing my midnight oil buring again. Thank goodness for Gale Hayman eyelift gel is all I can say. I must stop staying up so late.

Dont forget there are a few more all ready and rearing to go off to you. Just scroll down to the last post for details.
