New Year, New Look, New Resolutions

I am sure no one remembers, but it has been a whopping 15 months since my last blog post!!!!! I know, that's really slacking isn't it?
Life has been odd, tiresome and difficult. I will not bore anyone with details, but things are looking positive now.

My little grandson is growing up fast and just enjoyed his second Christmas and this morning I woke up with some renewed resolve to get both my etsy shop up and running at a level that we all enjoyed with Cutey Critters (more on that at some point), and blog with some actual repetition!!!! Kick me if I do not lovely readers...please.

So, I have sifted, tested and trawled to gift the blog a facelift and changed the title to match the shop. What do you think. I just love it. Not only does the vintage sewing pattern design tone beautifully with my header, but actually says what I am all about.

I have lots of ideas up my sleeve for new items and look forward to getting those to fruition and sharing with you on here.

All the delicate embellished hearts are on sale at £2 each. They look so sweet on a door handle or as I saw at a friends house hanging from a curtain hold back. Some are festive but many would work all year around. Ideal for the children to buy for mothers day at pocket money prices. Have a look and start thinking what dull little areas of your home you can adorn. Don't forget to browse the rest of the shop. I have dusted and hoovered in there so you should not find any cobwebs.

SALE TIME

Ok folks, as the Christmas shopping fury is over for this year, it is time for you to treat yourselves.  Like the high street (which will be noisy, busy and infuriating no doubt), I am having a sale on my teddy bears. There is a whacking 25% off all the bears from 9am tomorrow until 7pm next Friday.  I have lots of bears planned for next year and would like some space for them so why not take the opportunity while they are a wee bit more affordable.
The bears are here, but do have a peruse of the whole shop. We have so much more than teds.

Affordable gifts for Mum and Nan

Quick post to remind you about the handmade bags from my previous shop at very agreeable prices for sale on the sidebar.  There is a direct paypal link for each one.  2 of them would make lovely knitting bags if there is a knitter on your present buying list.  They are just £6. I used to retail these at £20 so they are a steal.  Keep an eye on it as i think there are a few more I can pop on there when I next get a minute. Purses at knock down prices.

I have taken the decision to close down the Perfect Little Purse Company on etsy as I really want to focus on the toys as they are what make me happy.  It was good making the bags but the mojo has gone and no point plodding on if my heart is not in it.  I have some left and am going to offer them at knock down prices on here.  Just leave me a comment about which one or ones you would like and an e-mail address and I will send a paypal invoice for you.  The price will include second class shipping in the UK.  If you want to upgrade it for whatever reason just let me know and I will sort out a the price difference on the invoice.
I really need to free up some space in my sewing room so please consider the absolute steal thes all are. All these bags are OOAK and now is a great time to bag yourself a bargain, or dare I say it, start putting things away for Christmas presents.  There, I did say it.  P.S if you can`t stretch to one at the mo I would be most grateful if you could share the link on your own blog.  Many thanks guys. xxx

Update! I have just added `buy it now` buttons which link to paypal in the sidebar. This gives us both all the info we need to conduct an easy transaction. Who knew this existed? not me!  Go on give it a try - and do let me know if there are any problems and I will try to iron them out.
